FACE BOMB ACME (DOKS-475) (2019)

TITLE:

Face Bomb Acme (DOKS-475) (2019)

SYNOPSIS:

In this audiovisual oddity, a series of women are subjected to extreme tests that combine pain, physical endurance, and intense emotional reactions. Presented in a minimalist, almost documentary-like style, the film explores the distortion of the human face—both literal and symbolic—as a metaphor for the loss of identity and psychological deterioration.

With its raw presentation and absence of conventional storytelling, the video documents these expressive and physical “explosions” as a catalogue of extreme sensations aimed at the most adventurous followers of Japanese experimental cinema.
